Kvik A/S optimizes warehouse management and improves ergonomics for employee

Kvik is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of kitchen, bathroom, and wardrobe solutions and has an extensive warehouse with a wide range of products. The company has a large logistics flow and serves customers in several countries with fast and efficient deliveries through approximately 180 stores across 12 markets.

To meet increasing demand and improve the work environment for warehouse employees, Kvik has implemented a new warehouse solution with two Effimat 4 machines and two E/Classic machines. Before the implementation, products were stored on a regular pallet racking system with 230 locations at floor level. This meant that pickers often had to work at inconvenient heights, increasing physical strain. With the EFFIMAT solution, all picking is now consolidated into a more ergonomic station where products are presented at a height that reduces strain on employees.
