Smart storage solution freed up valuable space at Lindab

Lindab, a global manufacturer of ventilation systems and building profiles, wanted to free up floor space and reduce reliance on traditional shelving to create a more organized and efficient warehouse. Their manual storage solution was taking up unnecessary space and negatively impacting picking speed.

By implementing EFFIMAT's E/Classic, Lindab has significantly optimized the warehouse space. The manual storage of small items was replaced by a compact, vertical solution, which reduces the need for floor space and creates a more structured warehouse layout. The goods are presented at an ergonomically correct picking height, which reduces manual handling and ensures safe access to even heavy and unwieldy items. The automated drawer setup also provides a better overview of the warehouse and enables faster and more efficient access to the items - exactly as Lindab wanted.

E/Classic was delivered with an integrated WCS system and could be implemented without any building adaptations. The user-friendly interface ensured a simple and problem-free commissioning. The result is a more organized and efficient warehouse, where Lindab has freed up valuable rack space and achieved improved picking speed and inventory management.
